Wingmans make award-winning chicken wings. The brand started life as a street food stall and with hard-earned success came expansion into ‘wingery’ restaurants and a cookbook ‘Wings and Things”. Design Command worked with them to design their flagship central London restaurant on Old Compton Street, which opened in July 2020.

Wingmans approached Design Command early in their journey and looked at several sites over the years before finding their perfect home in Soho.

For the concept design we wanted to step away from an industrial look and deliver a slick design with an urban twist.

We used the material tones you would find in a chicken coop but layered the design with a variety of different finishes that tied in with the white, black and gold Wingmans branding.

The result is a light and airy space that’s comfortable and a great place to meet and enjoy your favourite wings.
